I am wondering if anyone has tryed the tofurky meal. I am considering it for Thanksgiving and want some honest opinions of how it tastes. I refuse to cook a turkey this year for my family, so I am looking for an alternative.

Yes! We have eaten tofurkey, they changed the recipe directions & a few years ago it was easier/better for a 1st timer to follow. I think it has been around for 10 yrs -- if truly interested, write me & I'll tell you how it comes out the best.

If you do choose to try the Tofurky Roast, I recommend you use the slow cook method,ie; defrost roast for 24 hrs in refrigerator. Pre-heat oven to 300F, wrap roast in either foil or place in a covered casserole dish, baste and cook for 2 hours.
