do I find it hard being a veggie? You had better beleive it! Ridicule from co-workers, inavailability of food while traveling, hunger, weight loss, etc.
2. I eat cereal w/rice milk for breakfast, often with bread, fruit, juice. Sometimes pancakes, waffles....it's usually my best meal and I try to really bulk up on complex carbs to get me through the day- I shoot for 1000+ calories at breakfst. for lunch- often a cheese sandwich, or BLT without the B, bean burros, breadsticks, etc. For dinner, Pizza- my favorite! Mac n cheese, a variety of vegetable concoctions I dream up, spaghetti, potatos, and the like.
3.Snacks: pretzels, apples, bell peppers, watermelon, oranges, anything with apple filling YUM! sometimes pastries, fast food milkshakes- except these days the shake machines are always broken.
4. Yes it's hard to find enough veggie products in grocery stores. I look however, at those wonderful racks of vegetables in produce dept and have no idea what they might be good in , and how to prepare.
5. I have been veggie over 10 years
6. The local community knows squat about veggies- and why should they? we are rare.
7.restaurants are hard- I was at one yesterday- plenty of sushi, only two veggie dishes- side salad, seaweed salad (yuk!)
8. being veggie is more expensive than non. The reason is meat packs more nutrition for the dollar.
9. My family was pro-meat. We hunted, killed and ate animals. I always knew deep inside that it was wrong.
10. I became a veggie because of my compassion for animals, but also because I believe that the Bible clearly states that we are designed to be vegetarian. (Genesis 1, Daniel 1).

10. Why did you become a Vegetarian?
my health, the plants health, vegetarians save an average of 83 lives a year!
sometimes- makes me feel so
sometimes- makes me feel so good to know im not just taking from the world tho
eat oatmeal for breakfast or strawberry poptarts
dont really cook at all, but i find enough stuff to eat thats pretty healthy
eh wish there was some more vegetarian stuff in supermarkets, theres enough but eh..its not about how big the selection of food is, its about saving some lil animal lives =)
hmm been vegetarian since just at the start of this year, like 10 months now
nah no one knows what its like to be vegetarian, when people question me about it, they usually sympathize with something like 'i would be a vegetarian...but meat just tastes good' i dunno what you all think about this, but to me it seems like people who use that excuse have no willpower and dont stand up for what they believe in...they kill their equals cuz they dont want a tougher diet? bleh
eh sometimes hard to eat in restaurants, theres always a few good things that r veggie, but sometimes not much of a selection, i usually make out fine tho
nah not expensive
my family all eats meat...i just decided on my own when i was 17
a life is a life...just because people are smarter than animals doesnt mean we should abuse our power, we should do the opposite and help the less intelligent too, at least spare them, i didnt wanna take any more lives for my one
