Social Networking Sites for Vegetarians
Sometimes as a vegetarian you can feel a bit lonely, particularly if you are the only one in your family or among your friends who doesn’t eat meat. Just knowing there are other vegetarians out there can stave off the loneliness. Enter social networking sites for vegetarians. There are three that I found interesting places to 'poke' around.
Vegtaste.com lets you submit stories about anything vegetarian. However, before you are allowed to submit a story, you have to leave two comments. You can also become friends with other users on the site.
Vegspace.com is more than just a place to submit stories. You can befriend other users, read messages on the site from your friends, participate in a forum, post classified advertisements, and join groups.
For all vegans reading this post, Veganworld.com allows you to create your own page, post recipes, befriend other users, and contains a wealth of information about vegetarianism and veganism. As an added bonus, when you register with the site you receive a free electronic copy of The Real Forbidden Fruit.
